ARL Adds All Female Riding Academy to 2012 Schedule

Halifax, NS After a successful inaugural All Female Riding Academy, Atlantic Roadracing League is pleased to announce that they have made the event a permanent fixture in the calendar with a date being added to the 2012 schedule.
On September 22nd, 2011 four ladies from across Atlantic Canada attended ARL’s first All-Female Riding Academy. All of the women expressed how pleased they were with the event and how much they learned over the course of the day.
The date for the 2012 event along with ARL’s full 2012 Schedule will be released early in the New Year.

Private Training

ARL can arrange special individualized training to meet whatever level of training you require. ARL is pleased to offer group training sessions for any organization or club. Contact us to work with your club today. Prices vary on the day of the week, and for evening sessions, maximizing your track time.

High Performance Riding Academy

Bike Rentals Now Available! ARL works with select road racers to instruct small groups of motorcycle enthusiasts during our High Performance Riding Academy. The High Performance Riding Academy has been an amazing success and ARL looks forward to organizing it every year.

2012 Dates

  • May 20- All Female Riding Academy
  • June 9-10- Co-ed Riding Academy

How to Apply

Once your application is received we will send you a link where you can pay for your academy. If the academy is full we will put you on a waiting list. If you are under the age of 18 we will need parental consent and a copy of your birth certificate.

Academy Pricing

  • Weekend High Performance Riding Academy- Co-ed and Female: $275
  • Single Day Race License Academy: $275
  • Individualized Evening Riding Academy: $Call$

 

Public Track Days

These are days throughout the season which are open to street riders to bring their own motorcycle to the track for lapping days, on the closed circuit at Atlantic Motorsport Park. Get a taste of pure adrenaline with an ARL track day to hone your riding skills. Track days are available throughout the summer and more will be added if demand remains high.

Track Day Requirements

Your motorcycle does NOT need to be race prepared. The minimum requirement for motorcycle preparation are:

  • Coolant removed.
  • Mirrors/lights/signals taped or remove.
  • Functional front AND rear brakes.
  • Tires with good wear left.
  • Throttle that does not stick and returns to closed on it’s own when released.

Riders do NOT need to have previously completed a High Performance Riding School

Racing

ARL is a proud to present the Atlantic Superbike Championship Series. As well as all regional events ARL also organizes and promotes the Atlantic round of the Parts Canada National Superbike Championship. ARL also provides a youth rider program to help build the sport as well as local talent on a National level. Join in as a racer or a spectator!
